Why we install York
York's residential and light commercial line is now owned by Bosch. Bosch completed the purchase of that business from Johnson Controls on 1 August 2025, so the equipment we fit today comes out of Bosch Home Comfort even though YORK remains a Johnson Controls trademark. Johnson Controls kept the large applied side, the chillers and building systems.
It has become one of our most-installed lines. Availability has been consistently good, which in a market where supply decides the install date is worth as much as the specification.
The light commercial and rooftop range is genuinely strong, so a client with a shop at the front and an office above can be served by one manufacturer.

Where a building needs many independently controlled zones we would put Daikin VRV in front of it, but for a simple packaged rooftop replacement York is often the better commercial buy.
